Brayden Espinosa Solo Exhibition, “Splitting Grounds” July 25-September 2, 2024 Opening Reception: Thursday, July 25, 6-10 pm Taking an intuitive approach, Espinosa allows his imagery to fall naturally into place, mimicking found energy and light to give each piece a distinct voice. Colorado-born, he received a BA from Western Colorado University and began his art career with an internship at the Denver Museum of Contemporary Art, followed closely by a residency with Denver's Art District on Santa Fe and a string of various group and split exhibitions. His artistic ventures are fueled by a stabbing drive and a deep curiosity, a strong foundation for exploration and new visual communication. Espinosa describes this show as “the working collection of visual digestion of energy within fabricated spaces and restrictive infrastructure. Artificial order like a crudely placed sidewalk His work utilizes a vast range of traditional and overlooked mediums to visually meld and construct depictions of the world and the workings within it.” |

Bhasin was born in Kenya and has lived in many different countries before moving to Colorado. Being of Indian origin, with African and American West sensibilities, she is naturally drawn to bold shapes, colors and textures: shapes formed by light and shadow, small and often overlooked objects. |
